Dr Manju D Tanwar is Ph.D. in Material Chemistry & post graduated in Polymer Chemistry and has 20 years of Research experience in the Environment & Energy related field. She worked as DST Scientist-A at CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI), Govt. of India. In addition to working with the Mechanical Engineering department of the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, she also worked as an Honorary Researcher at the University of Birmingham and has been awarded the European Union’s Horizon 2020-Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow by the European Commission. Dr Tanwar worked as a Scientist and Head at the Research and Development Laboratory, Five Elements Environmental Ventures Pvt. Ltd., (FEEV), India. In addition to this, she has worked at Politecnico di Torino University, Turin, Italy, as well as several National Research Laboratories. She has published 16 research papers (SCI journals) and 22 proceedings of international conferences, as well as contributed to 6 books and monographs. Eight national and international awards have been bestowed upon her.”
At ORS she is heading the next round of innovation and research with focus to develop and deploy cost effective solution for treating solid and liquid waste as resource.
