Research & Innovation Centre

The Research & Innovation Centre (RIC) is dedicated to developing sustainable technologies and innovative solutions to address critical environmental challenges. Our focus lies in creating clean technologies that help reduce pollution, enable material recovery, recycling, and upgradation, and support the generation of renewable energy. We leverage advanced catalysis and adsorption processes to produce clean and green fuels, contributing to a healthier environment and a sustainable future.

New research initiatives are being undertaken by the RIC at our lab scale for Hydrogen production from solid biomass residues, Bioethanol / Bio Methanol from biomass, yield improvisation in Biomethane production, CO2 to methanation & Biochar production, Microbial bio cultures production for enhancing anaerobic biomethane production.

The Research & Innovation Centre (RIC) is actively engaged in pioneering sustainable energy research and clean technology development. Our latest initiatives focus on hydrogen production from solid biomass residues, bioethanol and biomethanol generation from biomass, and yield enhancement in biomethane production. We are also working on advanced processes for CO₂ methanation and biochar production, along with developing microbial bio cultures to accelerate anaerobic biomethane generation. These innovative solutions aim to address global environmental challenges by creating renewable energy sources, reducing carbon emissions, and advancing circular economy practices.

In addition, the RIC plans to support / conduct academic and frontier research in the energy, environment and waste management through the training and workshop in collaboration with various National and International Universities. The RIC is in the process of setting up international collaborations with research organizations in different countries, including the United Kingdom, Italy, and Sweden.
